2018 Women’s Gift Guide + Amazon Holiday Giveaway
We’re officially a week away from Thanksgiving and my stomach is already growling. I’m hosting my parents this year and sat down today to arrange all my recipes and formulate my grocery list (massive). I already told you my tree is up but there aren’t any gifts underneath as of yet. I was thinking today of what I wanted for Christmas although I really don’t need a thing. I have a really bad habit of getting myself what I want rather than waiting for gifting season, oops. But anyway.. the wheels started turning and I went through my wish lists. Here is my first 2018 women’s gift guide and it’s full of lots and lots of cozy everything! Cleary I’m a creature of comfort more than anything these days. If I could pick one thing I do have my eye on, it’s a new Apple watch – once they have the EKG/a-fib feature because that’s just super cool.
If you didn’t catch my latest news… I was officially accepted into a DUAL nurse practitioner program in both family health and mental health! To say I am floored and excited beyond measure is a fantastic understatement. I’m ready to get back into student mode in January and look forward to this new set of challenges – but foresee a LOT of coffee and comfy lounge wear while sitting under massive piles of books and homework. Whether you’re like me or searching for someone else on your list (sisters, mom, mom-in-law, hosting, friends, etc.), these are all super fun! Be sure to check out the men’s gift guide too!

Accessories
Umm.. totally squealed when I saw scrunchies are making a comeback! I used to have BUCKETS of them.. and have zero clue what my mom did with them. I’ve also totally fallen in love with these gorgeous headbands. I was watching the Tudors today and realized they remind me of the headwear from back then – so regal! I won this huge pom beanie at Trunk Club the other night and wore it to bed. I woke up with Poppy sleeping on my head/the pom – so funny and cute. It is fleece lined and super warm!

Beauty Recap
I wrote a post on Sephora holiday must haves but wanted to add and recap a few items I really love right now. Again – I LOVE my Dyson. It cuts your drying time in half and leaves my hair super soft, no matter the length. I highly suggest investing in a roller and good face oil. I found Le Prunier last year at an Indie Beauty Expo and think the brand is incredible. I also love Colleen Rothschild beauty oil. (Store your roller in the freezer and you won’t be disappointed.) This mask set is fabulous! I use all of these regularly and love their end results. If you’re looking for a bigger investment – the BeautyBio GloPro is an ideal buy. Your skin will look more youthful and regenerated with frequent use. I’ve also included the beauty mirror I use. I bought her last summer and have never seen my pores on a more intimate level.

Candles
Need I say more? I will never ever complain about receiving a candle – I’m rather addicted to them. One of my sweet followers recently sent me two candles from her brand new line! You can have them shipped to you every month! How cool is that? Be sure to check her out and support shopping small!
Ā
Coffee Table Books
If you’re stuck looking for a gift, a failsafe is a fun coffee table book. I’ve collected many over the years ranging from ballet, to poetry, to cooking and travel. Do you have a favorite or one you’ve been wanting?
Ā
Cuddly Coats/Outerwear
I’m all about the teddy and fleece trending again this season, SO snuggle perfect! I have this pullover and adore how cute it is. I’ve got my eye on this one too! And highly recommend this gorgeous sherpa coat – I have many Jack items and always love their items.
Ā
Jewelry Storage
I won’t lie – I had a massive crush on this jewelry box the moment I saw it. I just hadn’t seen anything else quite like it. I had been doing some rearranging of how I stored my jewelry once I moved and loved its modern appeal. I also bought the coordinating jewelry stands as well. Totally an impulsive moment but weeks later I still love them atop my dresser. I spotted this precious trinket tray today and literally said AW! I think it makes a precious gift for anyone!
Ā
PJ’s and Loungewear
Like I said previously, I will be doing all my studying/paper-writing/homework and most likely having my breakdowns in my favorite pj sets and loungewear. Who ever wants to study whilst uncomfortable? Not this girl. I also recommend this sleepshirt and these sweatpants (SO soft!).
Ā
Shoes & Slippers
I could have loads and loads of slippers and never have enough. My brother gives a pair to my mom every year for Christmas which I used to find funny and now I think it’s genius. Also, Poppy tends to steal mine and hide them so I’m left with one shoe or they’re missing their bows/feathers/whatnot. I LOVE these 14$ fuzzies from Amazon – they’re super comfy! I like to shop for/ask for winter shoes this time of year as well. I definitely don’t get to wear them often here but I bought similar to these last year and like to wear them when it’s raining. They’re a lot less cumbersome than huge rain boots and they look great with jeans.
Ā
Stocking Stuffers
These are all a random assortment, but great stocking stuffers nonetheless. A girl might not admit she needs nippie covers, but I swear they’re necessary for so many outfits. I included my favorite below.
Ā
Sweaters
Now that the weather is colder I can feel less guilty about buying or recommending sweaters. It was in the 20’s here in Dallas at the beginning of the week and is now back to 60 plus. Ugh! But I’m still loving stripes and rainbow themes – they’re just jubilant and go great with so many colors (pants/skirts/etc.).
Ā
Sweets
What is Christmas without candy? Do you have a favorite? I really enjoy homemade fudge and this year Charlie is testing out homemade candied pecans – and so far I’ve eaten them ALL!

yay I love hearing that!
So many lovely Christmas gift items here. Love the pyjamas and also the slippers xx
That fuzzy sherpa is on my list also! So cute!
I am all about hats with pom poms! So cute. Unfortunately my dog Beau just loves to eat the pom poms off so I have to be careful I don’t leave them where he can reach it. lol
I have totally noticed scrunchies making a comeback too! I’ve actually switched to using them, because they are supposed to be more gentle on your hair than just the elastic hair bands (which can break off a good bit of hair when you take them out).
These are some lovely Christmas gift ideas for my sister. She would love all of these. Thanks for sharing.
SO many great gift options– I love browsing through gift guides this time of year and getting great gift ideas.
