30 Dad Gifts for Father’s Day

It seems like every time I turn around it’s time for another holiday. I can’t keep up! My family tends to keep Mother’s Day and Father’s Day pretty low key – maybe throw in a family dinner or something – no biggie. My mother is always easy to shop for, our tastes are similar and we generally wear the same size. Dad on the other hand – always wracks my brain.

The man has everything he needs or wants. I tend to think I get my impulse shopping habits from him! He usually goes out and gets whatever he wants or needs, making any gifting situation all the more difficult. He’s also more like the strong & silent type, a man of few words but still always there if I need him. He does occasionally catch a laugh or something, and when he gets going – it’s hilarious! He almost can’t stop, like all the bottled laughs just come pouring out. I love it.

What is your dad or dad figure like? Do they always have jokes? Are they super into sports? Are they outdoorsy? Do they still use a flip phone like my dad? All of these men types, whether they’re your dad or hold a special place in your heart, deserve a little recognition from time to time. For all the flat tires they fix (because I never learned, for shame I know), snakes in the front yard they’ve dealt with (atleast here in Texas that’s pretty common), or hiding your first speeding ticket from Mom (yea.. that didn’t go over well) – I’d be lost without him. Do you have any funny stories of the dads/dad figures in your life?

For the Grill

My dad is (or thinks) he’s a total grill boss. I mean, can you blame him? So many good meals come from a grill! Whether he needs some new tools for the grill, an outdoor bluetooth speaker to enjoy some tunes while grillin’, or even some pretty food containers (this one comes in three colors) – there are tons of grill options to choose from! Don’t forget fun spices & rubs, sauces, and new cookbooks!

For the Techy and/or Geeky Dad

Now – my dad isn’t the most up to date when it comes to gadgets and gizmos, but I love him all the more for it. I’ll still keep trying to tech’ him up just a bit – even if his fitbit still sits unopened in the closet, true story. I could see him going for these rather crafty beer saver bottle caps though!

For the Fancy Father

My dad is a plumber by trade – so gettin’ fancy isn’t particularly his cup of tea, unlike his daughter. Dad lives in Levi’s, work boots, and works harder than I realized when I was a kid. When I was really young, he worked for a company. The coolest thing though? I saw him build and create his own company – literally starting from the ground up. In my opinion, fancy can be just cleaning up with a good shave, or gettin’ dressed up to the nines!

For all the Others

I remember the year my dad wanted an indoor mini golf set .. no idea what happened to it but the request definitely made me laugh. What do you see yourself gifting this year?
