30 Days of Holiday Dress-ing | No. 6 Star Party Dress
I LOVE any excuse to wear a fun dress – particularly during the holidays. For as long as I can remember I’ve been a dress girl. My friends incessantly teased me about being “too dressed up” or always fancy. Fancypants was a nickname bestowed upon me by a few beloved friends. Now I can be fancy all the time – or at least for the blog! The problem with dresses is finding “wow” pieces that are still affordable – welcome to ASOS, the mecca of all things trendy, affordable, but not too cheap. Need a party dress in a quick amount of time? ASOS also has two day shipping with orders > $100 OR you can pay just under 20$ for two day shipping for anĀ entire year.Ā Hands-Down best deal on shipping!
I have quite a few party dresses I’m going to be showing you all, but today we’re going to focus on this incredible star print organza-like dress. The sleeves are amazing, as is the body of the dress.
These pictures actually make me laugh pretty hard – it was SO windy when we wanted to shoot this dress. If I was walking around on a normal day, the dress would stay put and I wouldn’t worry about flashing my fannie to the masses – however – the winds of Texas decided otherwise that day. AND there were loads of kids walking around this Christmas set up – I had to be super careful! They did bust out their phones and filmed/snapped me getting my photos done. WHY do people do that? I’ve never understood it. “And here we have a sassy Texas blogger in her native habitat”… seriously.. it makes me feel like a rare zoo animal.
On another note – these booties are freaking amazing, they also come in black! I’ve never loved a pair of booties more than these. They are just so pretty! I’m really wanting to wear them for New Year’s Eve – they just seem like a party!
Do you have any fun holiday getaways, plans, parties, etc? A good friend of mine throws a holiday pj party every year – it’s so fun! Zero stress in dressing up in your jammies! Remember my two posts on jammies this season?
I also wanted to point yall into a unique gift for the holidays. My bangle is from Coordinates Collection – and is incredibly special. The coordinates I chose are from where I graduated with my Master’s in Nursing Healthcare Systems Management and will be graduating with my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership. Can you guess where it is? I also engraved the inside with the date I started my doctorate. For me, it’s a symbol of my hard work, dedication, and every emotion in between. I absolutely love it – it’s personal, unique, and beautiful. You can create your own customizable pieces!
Yass!! Love the booties and clutch bags. This is definitely a super cute outfit I can see myself wearing to parties.
I love your dress! the astros are really in this season š
I’m so obsessed with that dress, it’s super festive and chic. I also like the idea of a coordinate bracelet, I’ve never seen anything like it before!

I love the sparkly shoes and the cute black dress I really like your entire look including your hair. I had my hair cut in a short like yours too and I am loving shorter hair. Your pictures are great and clear.. Where did you say you go the dress and shoes from?
I am the same way with dresses! I remember I once wore a dress to the dentist, and she asked me where I was going to afterwards… I think I lied and said I was going out to eat with friends lol. I knew damn well the only thing I was doing afterwards was going straight home.
