10 Books I Can’t Wait to Read
I’ve hardly been able to read at all this year, #school. With my newly established free time amidst the stay at home orders many of us have been landed with, I’m picking up my reading list as another way to clear my head. I recently shared my humongous list of binge worthy shows to watch – but I figure I need to do more with myself than slowly mesh with the couch cushions.
There are so many great reads out and quite a few I added to my list last year that I ‘ve yet to be able to read. I wrote about my reading goal that I completed last year – and a little of what I’ve read so far in 2020. You can click on each of these widgets to read a little preview!
I just finished Trophy Wife – it was cute. It gives you a glimpse inside the life of the unknowing even naive spouse whose significant other was running a ponzi scheme. She was suddenly without a house, without possessions, without money – and seemingly without a husband. What would Agnes do now?
I’m currently reading The Upside of Falling Down. So far, it’s cute. Are you ever curious to read a book based on its cover art? I love fun covers. Clementine is the lone survivor of a horrific plane crash and wakes up in an Irish hospital – with no memory. She knows who she is and nothing else. Makes you wonder if you suddenly lost your memories of the world surrounding you how you’d rebuild your future. Kind of like this virus we’re currently facing – how will we move forward once its over? Will we take better care of the world around us?
Such a Fun Age
Days of Distraction
The Cruel Prince
The Light We Lost
This is Me
Darling Rose Gold
Untamed
Minor Dramas & Other Catastrophes
On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous
The Light Between Oceans
Another book I’m probably going to read before these ten up above is Hilary Mantel’s third installment of the Wolf Hall series. I’ve said many times that I’m a total history junkie – particularly history of the European royals.. it’s so juicy! The narrative is told from the point of view of Thomas Cromwell who, in most other instances, is portrayed negatively. I love it!
So now it’s your turn: what’s on your list? Or.. what was the last thing you read?
Such a great list of recommendations! I add Minor Dramas & Other Catastrophes on my list! Thanks for sharing it

they were all great reads!
The light between oceans is my all-time favorite book. It’s a novel. The most prevalent theme in “The Light Between Oceans” is that of family, as the basic plot surrounds one couple’s desperate desire to become parents regardless of the consequences. An irresistible story once you start reading you can’t stop ahead yourself by reading this story. You love this story.
It’s been really a pleasure to read ” Such a fun age ” and one thing I want to add to it. The author shows a real character. Needs to be appreciated.
