Amazon Purchases as of Late
I honestly don’t know what I would do without Amazon. I’ve shared a few of my favorite past purchases including houseplants.. but gosh what was life before it? Over the years I’ve gone to the store less and less. I don’t like being around people in stores and there’s usually some odd dude who feels like the need to say something inappropriate or worse, follow me around. Yes, it’s happened.. more than once. Needless to say I’m all for doorstep delivery, curbside pickup, etc. I also usually shop smile.amazon.com so a portion goes to my favorite charity!
Tops
I purchased this sweater months ago – and now it’s everywhere. I have it in black and white. I’m a big fan of turtlenecks/mock necks again. Hello 90’s! Flannel is all the rage again (isn’t it every fall?) as is the ‘shacket.’
So funny story about the Elle Woods campaign sweatshirt: I went to the doctor the other day for my annual flu shot and a follow up. I wore the sweatshirt with these pink biker shorts (so comfy). While I’m sitting in the waiting room, an older woman kept looking over at me. I finally realized she was staring at my sweatshirt and trying to figure out what the hell it meant. I was cracking up on the inside!
Shackets
I had initially heard of the “shacket” last fall and have become quite a fan – particularly here in Texas where it’s cold in the mornings and jumps back to 80/90 in the afternoons … but then might be 35 as the high the next day. You just never know.
Tie Dye Pajama Sets
If I had a love language, it would be pajama/lounge sets/day jammies. I thank one of my favorite gals @katwalksf for my forever affinity for tie dye from here on out.
Home Goods
Who has long hair and notoriously clogs the drain? These super cheap little plastic barbs are AMAZING! It’s like a roto-rooter minus the cost of a plumber. I try to be pretty good about not letting my hair all fall down the drain.. that sounds weird… but you know what I mean. It sounds even weirder to say I collect a little ball of it to throw away after I’m done washing my hair but hey – my dad’s a plumber and his least favorite thing was having to repeatedly snake my shower drain because of all the clogged hair. I swirl these around the shower drain once a month to catch any hair that may have snuck past me and let me tell you, they make a huge difference!
I always hear mixed reviews about this Diva detergent. People either love it or they hate it, but I think it smells heavenly. I wash all of our bedding with it. I’ve been randomly buying little kitschy tchotchkes for shelves and such and ran across the little bust. Charlie thinks it’s weird but I adore it.
I’ve also been on a mission to use less plastic and be a little greener. I found these reusable baggies that come in various sizes. They’re a little heavy duty which I love because they will LAST! I also really love this rainbow glass Tupperware set. I HATE when plastic Tupperware starts to get grimy after a while and tends to discolor. Lastly, I wanted to organize the mess of cords accumulating across my nightstand. This guy charges my phone, ipad, kindle, and watch with room for more. There’s something very visually pleasing about it all being stacked neatly in a row.
Beauty
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these pimple patches are GOLD. I have the red and blue boxes and cannot rave about them enough. They’re fairly inexpensive so I dare you to try them! You’ll be AMAZED, possibly grossed out, in the morning what gets pulled into the patch.
I also really love these tinkle razors. If you’re a fuzzball like me (Mexican genes) you know the pain of having darker facial hair. I got over waxing and bleaching ages ago and now break out the tinkle when needed. No, your hair will not grow back darker or thicker. I still prefer an actual dermaplane experience but in between when I can actually get that done, I use the tinkle!

I keep hearing great things about Amazon clothes, but I haven’t taken the plunge! I need to see if they have sustainable brands – I’m so into vintage, thrift, sustainable at the moment. It looks like you’ve been finding fab things!! <3
