Patchwork Army Chic
Okay I must be honest, I initially didn’t buy into the patchwork trend. I just wasn’t seeing it in any garments that necessarily caught my eye.. until I found this dress while strolling through Dillard’s with my mom.
I think it reminds me so much of Charlie’s flight suit (which I call a romper, hah!) that I needed this, just to have my own version. Charlie, for those who don’t remember, is an F-16 pilot in the USAF and wears a dignified flight suit aka onesie almost every day.
This dress is nearly the same shade of olive as his flight suits and even has a little plane patch! Actually, all of the patches are super adorable, including the little camel. They just seem to make me smile, which is the best feeling!
I styled this look with some super fun and colorful pom earrings from Bauble Bar and a fold-over clutch I found at Nordstrom. And let’s talk about this booties shall we? Zipped up, zipped down one side or both, or folded over.. I can’t get enough. They’re so versatile and comfortable, I pair them with many different outfits!
How do you feel about military fashion? This look is soft enough for me to say yes, and easy enough for anyone to wear!
