The (Swim) Suits of Summer – Part 2

If y’all follow me on Snapchat or read my Instagram commentary you’ve probably seen loads of rants about school and zero posts with me poolside or anything close to looking like a swimsuit and much more like sweatpants and a ratty top bun. Well – this chick has finished her first semester of doctoral nursing school and YAY am I glad to have a few weeks off! What will I do with those few weeks of mindlessness? Get some much needed sun with a book of my choosing! Who has book recommendations? Totally need some!

I fell so much in love with this swimsuit the moment I saw it. I adore pattern mixing and couldn’t be more excited to see it so well done and stinking adorable in a swimsuit! Horizontal stripes aren’t necessarily everyone’s favorite but I find the sweetheart neckline and cut of the bodice to be incredibly flattering and feminine. Have you seen the back detail? I regrettably didn’t remember to snag a great shot but you can kind of peek a side view of the two bows (so cute!).

The shape of this one piece I find perfect for all body types. For fuller figures or those who might not want to show their tummies, the high waist is supportive and concealing, but still gives a hint of peek-a-boo up top. The bodice is ideal for ladies of all chest sizes and you can bend over without worrying anything is going to spill out or give an unwanted show.

You can find the suit here, I also bought its adorable twin and can’t wait to wear it! Also cannot resist this cutie pie (so many great patterns)! What are your favorite swimsuit styles?
