Gracefully Pink | Elegant Florals & Lace
You know when you see a dress that makes you stop? Well this dress didn’t do it for me UNTIL I tried it on. I loved the print on sight but I thought the silhouette looked unflattering – boy was I wrong! The delicate fabric and print combined with lace, frills, and pink-ness just exudes elegance.. not to mention the revealing leg slit.
Shooting this look was so fun – the wind captured the dress beautifully, and I still had yards of hair at the time. You know when you’re standing in the breeze and you just feel like Pocahontas singing “The Colors of the Wind”? Billowing winds running through my hair just does something – it resets my soul almost. In those tiny instants the world just stops, and you focus on your own heart beating – all the problems dissipate, even if for a moment.
Currently I’m still in Boston – but the situation is looking a little bit better today, thankfully. My mother in law’s health is still quite critical, but is seemingly improving in tiny little baby steps. Thank you ALL for your continued prayers, well wishes, and love that has been poured out to us. Being a nurse taking care of a family member (in a supportive way) is tough. The critical care background in me just itches to jump in but she is in such amazing hands.
