The green gingham top you can’t live without

I don’t even know where to start to catch you guys up with my life as of late .. but I do know it’s November (what?!) and the weather here in Texas is see-sawing in typical form. I landed back in Dallas from Boston on Tuesday in 50 degree weather and the high today is going to be 90… 90!! So if the weather is going to act like it’s summer then by all means, I’m going to dress like it’s summer – in this gorgeous green gingham top.

Usually I’m all excited to immediately start putting up my Christmas decor as soon as November arrives, but in this heat I just can’t find it in me yet. I’m already seeing holiday ads and gift ideas – and I feel like I can’t catch my breath. This year – and especially this fall- has been a kick in the pants more often than not. So without getting into the details of the crumminess – we’ll save that for another day – let’s talk green gingham shall we?

This top comes in several colors (including pink!!) and has party written all over it. It’s actually called the “she’s all that” top! LOVE those vibes! It also happens to be 30% off here! Paired with a fun mini skirt (fitted or flared) or slacks, it is the cutest thing! How fun would it be with some red ankle pants? Totallllly holiday themed! This is also my first time ever wearing a neck scarf – and now I’m kind of mad I haven’t worn them before! It also happens to be 50% off and comes in a white version as well. OH and these shoes are 50% off – and come in a couple of other colors!

Love gingham? Catch my last post featuring sunshine gingham goodness. As always, thank you for reading – and forgive me for playing catch up this week!

It’s crazy how fast this year has flown, I’m so not ready for Christmas, it’s creeping up so quickly and I still have so many more presents left to buy!

Hope you are having a nice week šŸ™‚

  2. This outfit looks great on you. The frills on the top are so on trend at the moment! You know you’ve made a good purchase when you can wear the item for lots of different occasions. I like the idea of the contrasting colour with the shoes and the bag. Nice post!

  3. Considering how cold it is getting in Canada, I’m beyond jealous of the weather you’re experiencing. The outfit is really cute, that top just looks incredible on you! The photography is so professional and captures all of the colourful details of this look. Great post!
