30 Days of Holiday Dress-ing | No. 8 Party Pants

The more I look at the theme of my outfits lately – the more I notice an abundance of stars and celestial vibes. Maybe I’m subconsciously telling myself to keep reaching for those stars! My long-time best friend (biffel) actually made fun of me for wearing this outfit when I first posted it on Instagram – She said it was very Fifth Element. Hah! Even with her constructive criticism – I freaking love this outfit. I’m actually watching Stars Wars – The New Awakening as I write this – because I’m a girlnerd and love every second of it.

Although I love the holidays and everything that comes with it (the trees, lights, gifts, etc.) some people get bored or just don’t care for lots of red and green every single day. This outfit is nothing like the tartan splashed across the masses! Patent pants are tricky yet simple – they go with just about any vibe (dressy, trendy, t-shirts, crop tops, etc.) but please beyond please make sure they fit right! They can quickly go mighty wrong in the nether regions if you get my drift. Yikes!

That being said, they’re also incredibly warm because they barely breathe – I shot these photos in 70ish degree weather and had a hell of a time trying to get them off from the leg sweat. Suffer to be beautiful right? My top actually reminds me of a modern day Glenda from the Wizard of Oz. Those sleeves tho! I paired it with a simple bralette but I think a bodysuit would also look incredible underneath this.

I had so much fun walking down the sidewalk of downtown Dallas in this outfit – I got a lot of lookers (people watching is my favorite!). When you want to be bold – own every second of it!

  1. Those pants are stunning! I love the way you’ve styled everything. I wish I could pull them off that time of year, but I live on the beach in Florida… I think I might actually die. Lol!
