Health Longevity: Two Steps Forward, One Step Back
Every day that goes by, every hour, and second, weāre all getting a little older. Looking back on our pictures of us when we were young and in the prime of health and youth brings back so many fond memories. Aging is nothing to be sad about, it’s a process that we cannot stop so why cry over spilled milk? Our health though, that is something we should be worried about, or at the very least concerned about. You can look taut and healthy on the outside but be deteriorating on the inside.
Wrinkles can be worn with grace, as they are part and parcel of growing older. However, our organs and system have so much life left in them to give us no matter how mature we look on the outside. Therefore we need to approach our way of life when it comes to aging, as two steps forward and one step back. This is how you should approach aging, as in you canāt stop it but you can control the longevity of your own health.
A wholesome wellness
There are so many dieting books, healthy food and workout videos online that you really are spoilt for choice. It’s justified to now seek out and consume more green foods such as vegetables and fruit. However thatās all well and good, but it wonāt nearly have as large an effect for giving you extra years of your life, as good mental health will. It doesnāt matter if youāre working out every day, eating healthy and sticking to a tight sleep schedule. If youāre stressed and are constantly unhappy, you are unhealthy in your mind. Stress can eat away at you, and for many of us because we lack the coping skills, we allow it to become a part of our daily life. Suddenly, being unhappy at work and living together with a toxic partner becomes the norm. Take as much care to learn stress-relieving skills as you do learning new diets and exercises.
Degenerative circumstances
In the case of living with a condition that is part of your daily life, it’s sometimes hard to see the positive side of staying healthy. If you allow your mind to wander, you will start to think that thereās no use and that whatever shall be shall be. If you get assistance from professional healthcare providers, such presented if you click here, it makes the chores and errands you have to do, a whole lot easier. The trick to living a healthy life as you get older and perhaps with an illness is knowing when to ask for help and when to do the rest for yourself. Palliative care is certainly one of those services that you cannot replace with anything else. Circumstances can be controlled with a little bit of healthy living and help.
The key to living a long life is making decisions that will aid your longevity and sticking to them. Perform these decisions early on in life before you get close to being middle-aged. Find help to cope where you can, but also make tough choices that will end up improving your life in the long run.

I lke your mindset here. I personally have a holistic view of health and find that staying active, eating well, and engaging your mind are key parts to maintaining wellness across you lifespan. That said, I do think it’s important to go to the doctor and dentist for check-ups and cleanings. Beyond that, we need to be our own advocates for our physical and mental health and take care of our bodies so they will take care of us.
I never really thought of wholesome health before. I feel like there are just so many trendy diets and pressures going around so this is comforting to read someone’s thoughts on how important it is to look at your health as a whole. Thanks for sharing!
I’m all about healing and preventative measures through smarter food choices! Great post babe.
This is interesting! We definitely have to take care of our emotions and mental health as a top priority. Thank you for sharing!
