A Sparkling Set of New Great Jones Cookware
It’s supposed to be an official sign of being “old” when you’re excited about cookware and kitchen gadgets right? Whether there’s any truth to that sentiment, I couldn’t be more excited to share this 5-piece Great Jones cookware. Our set of pots and pans, plus the odds and ends accumulated over the years, were given to us as part of our wedding registry – over TEN years ago. Those pots and pans have been through so many moves and memories, but they’re rather worse for wear at this point. We built our current house almost four years ago now and I’ve been wanting a fresh new set of cookware to adorn our kitchen we love so much. This post comes as a much-appreciated paid partnership with Great Jones and a fresh Family Style cookware set.

Great Jones derives its name as a nod to Judith Jones, who published the work of Julia Childs and other notable authors. Great Jones cookware is non-stick and nontoxic (double bonus!). Another super cool service is the ability to peruse recipes on the Great Jones website AND text a real-time number for cooking advice which would undoubtedly come in handy (1-814-BISCUIT). I LOVE trying new recipes, but I have a tendency to over-commit and land myself in a pickle while attempting the unknown. A textable advice service would be awesome!
The Family Style Set
The Family Style set is a 5-piece cookware set that has both cast-iron cookware and stainless-steel cookware pieces. The pieces include the Dutchess Dutch oven, the Big Deal classic stockpot, the Saucy, the Deep Cut sautĆ© pan skillet, and the Small Fry. The stainless-steel mixed metal pans are GORGEOUS, and the Dutchess comes in seven different color options including, black (pepper), grey (earl grey), white (salt), blue (blueberry), green (broccoli), yellow (mustard), and pink (taffy). Each of these pieces has elegant, welded handles, with no screws, rivets, or seams to trap food or unwanted bacteria. The pieces are all fully clad and upgraded from the “traditional nonstick base” to stainless steel, which is bonded with aluminum to ensure a fast and even heat delivery.
The Dutchess
She is a beauty! The Dutchess is oval-shaped and can fit a whole chicken. The lid is snug and doesn’t wobble around. The oversized handles make handling with mitts all the easier. It retains and distributes heat well, is easy to deglaze and
clean, and pretty enough to leave on your stove at all times.

Care and Cleaning
All these items are oven-safe up to 500 degrees. Each is dishwasher friendly although handwashing is recommended. The Dutchess can be washed in the dishwasher but should be hand-dried thoroughly after running a cycle to prevent rust formation on exposed raw cast-iron edges. In order to prevent staining, wipe down the Dutchess before placing in the oven. Also be sure to use non-metal utensils such as silicone, wood, or plastic utensils while cooking and non-abrasive sponges while cleaning to avoid scratching.
Pieces I’m Eyeing
The Family Style set is such a great blend of cookware options, but I do have my eye on a couple more items. Fully Baked is an incredible bakeware set FULL of so many essentials! I’m also eyeing the Large Fry.
