Bandana Print | a Perfect Fall Print

When I think of fall – I think of scarecrows, hay bales, and all things pumpkin. I also think of red bandana print – either as a neckerchief or now in the most adorable silhouettes. When I was little, my grandmother made my cousins and me tons of dresses. One of them was the most adorable bandana print pleated mini skirt. I paired it with my little red cowgirl boots and a white tee – boy did I think I was something!

Isn’t it funny – when you’re young you’re not so concerned about what’s on trend or fashionable, but just something that looks pretty and makes you feel like a million bucks? Some of my best memories are twirling around in clothes my grandmother made me – or the time I spent with my grandmother sewing and crafting. Those were much more simple times.

I’ve yet to find a bandana print item until I wandered across this dress. The smocking reminds me so much of my little skirt from way back when. The fit is amazing and super stretchy, yet flirty! I still have such a color crush on red – I wouldn’t be mad if I wore it everyday! Remember this red look?

  2. This dress is so perfect! I love how feminine it looks, but it could easily be totally dressed down for a causal outfit. Plus, how fun are those earrings! The black and white looks great with the print of that dress. Also, props to your photographer, you look incredible!
