Chambray Bows

Currently I’m writing to you all from up in the sky – yes, I’m on my way to yet another adventure! This time I’m off to Orlando for the annual BlogHer conference! I’m SUPER excited, this trip was a little last minute but I couldn’t be more antsy to meet new people and network with some incredible folks! The more I read about it the more I started get really amped up. There are tons of celebrity and high-powered women who come and speak at the conference to empower and inspire, women like Oprah, Chelsea Clinton, Serena Williams… isn’t that the neatest?

I’ve been feeling a little in the weeds the past month with school starting back up and literally flying by the seat of my pants. Now that I’ve kind of got a feel for the pace again I’ll be more up to speed when it comes to blogging and staying up to date. I didn’t think having a year off from my master’s was going to be such a big deal but yea.. it was hard to get back in the swing of things, especially when school started right when we left from our fab French getaway. Not ideal.

Tropical storm Cindy is winding through the gulf right now, I’m really hoping it doesn’t just drench Orlando the entire trip. I was hoping to sneak in a visit to Harry Potter World! What kind of fan would I be if I didn’t go get a wand? That being said, my prayers and safest wishes to those in the path of the storm and fellow Loyola ‘Nola schoolmates braving the storm, stay safe!
