I still can’t even wrap my mind around the fact it’s time to think about holiday shopping.. what?! This year seriously flashed by with unprecedented speed.. kind of scares me how the coming years will zip by. I put up the Christmas tree last night, I did a blue/white/green theme this year. I usually try to switch color schemes every year. Charlie teases me because my trees are so beautiful that when we have children I won’t be letting them put their ornaments on the tree. I simply said we’ll get another tree just for them! I see nothing wrong with multiple trees – the more the merrier (and I still keep my pretty tree)! Is anyone else like that? Protective and highly OCD when it comes to tree decor? Charlie also gets in trouble because he puts similar or same bulbs right beside each other .. no sir!

And with a Christmas tree comes gifts. Do you have a wishlist set up? I gathered a few of my favorite finds so far and reasons why I love them!

Beauty Buys

I never ever complain about any gift related to beauty. I could simply spend all day in Sephora and Ulta. Which one is your go to? I picked some various beauty items I either wouldn’t mind refills of or new things I’m wanting! Beauty blenders are my number favorite beauty tool. I use them for foundation, concealer, blush, etc. They make your entire look so much more smooth and well.. blended. I also love a good shimmery eye shadow palette. There are so many amazing choices out there but I found this Charlotte Tilbury palette and thought it’s great for both neutral looks as well as a dramatic smokey eye. We all know I love a good face mask. They’re essential for revitalizing skin and can do wonders when your face is feeling tired or dull. Glamglow is one of my absolute favorite brands. Each one serves a slightly different purpose, and all are incredible! My number one beauty want for Christmas is the GloPro micro needling system.. I surprisingly haven’t invested in this tool but have seen incredible results in all my friends. Think of it as a cup of coffee for your skin, it wakes up and sparks new life into those cells to promote cell turnover and provide that desired “glo”.

Who loves to lounge around in pj’s, listening to music or reading a good book? My dogs and I love a good fuzzy blanket next to the fire, yes they are extremely spoiled! Add a cup of hot tea and I’m headed straight to nap paradise. Cozy slippers are probably the shoe I live in 90% of the time, why not? One of the best feelings is stepping into brand new Uggs, they’re sooooo fluffy! Naturally I adore this pink pom pair, and may have already bought them for myself. Creature of comfort y’all.

Gifts for the Home

I’m super stoked to think of things I might need around the house or just fun gifts to add some spice to my surroundings. Or perhaps you’re going to holiday parties and need something nice to give to the host aside from a candle. I LOVE glassware, especially with cute little sayings. They’re perfect for parties and always add a little life to the table. Also think of fun games to play. Sitting down to Cards against Humanity with my in-laws is always a humongous laugh, and sometimes extremely awkward.

Etc.

Have an active person in the household.. or maybe aspire to be more active? Who could resist going to yoga with this insanely fun mat? Guaranteed to make you new friends, I’m sure of it! The holidays also are a busy time for travel! Not only is durable luggage a must (have you seen how those things get tossed around?) but buffing up your immune system to fight off the seasonal bugs and flu (see my post for tips here). Stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep, and wash those hands!

  9. I love this list! It pretty much covers everything! Although I am not much of a make up user, I am interested in items for the home, the fuzzy slippers, the cozy snuggly blankets, pajamas, scented candles, OMG. I like them all!

  14. I think that basic things like pyjamas, socks and so on are such good gifts. I take these small things for granted and never take the time to buy them. I’m always happy when I get socks or PJs.

  27. I love how you separated the different types of gifts with the prices. Many times when I’m shopping for Christmas gifts I draw a blank on what should I get for loved ones. I think I’m going to hang onto this post just as a reminder what I could get.
