My Favorite Sephora Products Under $50

My love language… er uh, one of them.. is definitely skincare and/or beauty products. My Sephora rewards status definitely says I spend an ungodly amount of dollars at that store and I make zero apologies. This past week we took a MUCH needed vacation to Cabo Azul and I must say it was an understated need. The resort was gorgeous, secluded, and only at 30% capacity. We have both been vaccinated and were tested before and after traveling. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for something that provides reprieve and isn’t crazy packed. While I was doing absolutely not a damn thing in a super comfy terry cloth beach daybed I found myself thinking about skincare and sun exposure during my youth. My mom was amazing about slathering us with the most potent sunscreens on the market. As a teenager, though, I was ALL ABOUT the tan and find myself in tanning beds over and over again. The thought now makes me cringe and shriek. I wrote up a LOT about skin cancer – you can read that here. As a teen and even in my early 20’s skincare just wasn’t the thing it is now? We were pretty much stuck with St. Ive’s ultra harsh apricot scrub (but I loved it), Sea Breeze that burned your face off, Noxzema that made your eyes sting, overpriced Proactiv infomercials and Olay if you were feelin’ fancy (still love). Now remember not all affordable products are junk and not all pricey products are amazing. There are definitely items I spend a stupid amount on, most work out well although a few don’t. I really try to do some deep dives into review research before shelling out lots of dollars on super pricey products. Today I’m sharing my favorite Sephora products under $50 that I solidly stand behind. Lots of these I’ve used now for years while a few are relatively new. If you’ve tried them let me know your thoughts!

Let’s Discuss

Is anyone else a banana fanatic? Every summer I anxiously await the opportunity to order a banana + cream snow cone and relish childhood memories. This moisture cream is light, hydrating, and smells like summer in the best of ways.

This is one of my favorite products from Fresh. It smells like peaches. You wake up with radiant skin!

This lip sleeping mask has been a fan favorite for years. Vanilla might be my favorite version although I own every single one.

Ah, the Tatcha pearl illuminating eye treatment. I LOVE this and despite trying other alternative products, this remains my top contender. Dark circles be gone.

Olapex cannot get enough reviews in my book. I love all the products equally – particularly because my hair is very very blonde and I was born with very very dark hair. I need all the anti-breakage support possible.

This gloss is fairly new to my collection. It definitely lives up to its hype and delivers plump lips without the extra effort of over lining.

These niacinamide drops are another fantastic product in Glow Recipe’s line up. What is the purpose of niacinamide? Well it helps with redness and blotchiness, helps with aging and fine lines, and provides a soothing balance to your skin. I definitely apply these once or twice a week after a toner.

Coola is one of my favorite clean beauty lines, especially when it comes to sunscreen. I took these with me to Cabo this past week and loved how they felt on my face. Don’t forget to reapply!

Speaking of your face, who still gets acne as an adult? Ugh! I recently stopped my birth control and letā€™s just say the hormonal acne is UNKIND. This Mario Badescu drying lotion attacks those unsightly pimples and dries them up before you succumb to the temptation of squeezing it to death. DON’T DO IT!

As I get older, I seem to develop more redness in my cheeks. No idea why. A green primer negates the redness before applying makeup.

Kiehl’s has become a favorite brand of mine over the past few years. Clay gets deep down in those pores and latches onto impurities without destroying the natural bacteria on your skin. There’s a very gentle exfoliation in this cleanser that leaves my skin feeling fantastic. I use this as the first cleanser – I follow up with my favorite Tula cleanser. Double washing is essential to get that skin clean and shining!

They also have a line of dog products (on the Kiehl’s website) including a shampoo and mist. I use this particularly for the scent because Poppy LOVES to go outside and roll around in the grass. She also sleeps in the bed so she gets numerous showers a week. Love her.

This scrub is also new to my arsenal. While I love fine scrubs I need a more sturdy one once a week to feel like the dead skin cells are getting the boot. This one fits the bill just right!

  1. It’s always so much fun to see which beauty products my friends enjoy. The only one on your list that I’ve tried is the Mario Badescu drying lotion. I used that for years when I had “normal acne” haha (before discovering my acne would never go away because I literally have a disease in my gut). I’ll have to check out some of the others!

  2. Honestly, I just ran out of skincare products, and I’m kind of bored and want to try something new. So this post for sure came in handy.

  4. I love your picks! I’ve used that Fresh Lotus night cream for years and it’s my favorite! I also started using that Glow Recipe watermelon niacinamide drops late last year and it’s amazing!
