My Latest Sephora Haul
My undying love for a good Sephora haul never disappoints, wouldn’t you agree? It’s basically my one stop shop for just about all things beauty. I’ve typically bought most of my makeup, skincare, and beauty tools from Sephora unless it’s a brand they don’t carry – which seems to be rare. Here are some of my finds from my latest Sephora haul in a variety of categories and why.
Ā Newest Finds
I didn’t start using self tanners until the past few months, mainly out of fear I’d turn out looking like George Hamilton. I’ve now used a few different brands, including this water mousse, and St. Tropez still ranks as my favorite. The water mousse is quite soft in appearance, giving you the ability to build upon the layers without worrying you’ll overdo it. They also have a face mist I’ve yet to try, but currently have in my cart.
I’m still in the process of ‘testing out’ the Kopari coconut deodorant, but I remain on the fence in general when it comes to natural deodorants. I think I just have smelly armpits that need stronger protection than natural ingredients. Do you guys have a recommendation? I love the brand – but sadly the deodorant doesn’t seem to be enough for my pits.
I’m a huge huge believer in beauty blenders, they’re my favorite beauty tool by far. And I’ll admit up front I’m terrible at keeping them clean. When I saw this cleaner I thought maybe too good to be true? I’m happy to report I was not disappointed – it works like magic! I like to wash my brushes and sponges with castile soap to really get the oils and grime out, but I think this is a great in-betweensie for the sponges.
You all know I put on a face mask at least twice a week. Their ability to transform your skin is so undervalued, in my opinion. GlamGlow is one of my top five mask brands – and it’s tough to pick an overall favorite from their line. I recently tried this new 60-second “instamud” mask – which is great if you don’t want to wait around with a mask on your face. I definitely had a lovely post-mask glow with tighter pores and soft skin. One of my other GlamGlow favorites is the Supermud mask – talk about amazing skin! The activated charcoal helps detoxify and clear up your skin – you have to try it if you haven’t already!
Kiehls is another favorite skincare brand of mine. Their face masks are a-mazing! I bought the lip buttermask mainly wondering if I would love it as much as the Laneige lip sleeping mask. Comparing the two: the buttermask is $24 vs Laneige lip mask at $20. You can definitely taste some type of butter element in the Kiehls product – I’m unsure if I care for it or not. My lips were nourished and soft once I woke up in the morning but I think the Laneige mask delivers a little bit better of a result. The Laneige product is silkier than the buttermask and didn’t taste strange – in my opinion.
I consider myself a lipstick fanatic – the bolder the better. When I saw these little lip trios – I had to try them! Huda Beauty generally delivers incredible products, all full of pigment and amazing color. These matte lip minis were no different and they come in fun nude shades as well. I liked the variety of shades and didn’t feel like they leeched the moisture out of my lips like some matte products tend to do.
I use a variety of concealers for different purposes. Lately, I’ve been trying to master the ‘cut crease’ in my eye looks. I needed a concealer that didn’t come in a tube and applied easily to an eye brush. For concealer on my face/for my contouring routine, I rotate between Tarte and this NARS product. Both are fantastic and give great coverage while blending out effortlessly.
Have you heard of Hum Nutrition before? I’m amazed at their variety of products for seemingly endless body qualms. I’m trying their Skinny Bird which helps boost metabolism and maintain healthy blood sugar levels. Their products are gluten free and sustainably sourced. I’m also taking their Hair gummies (delish) to help grow out my hair. You can visit their website to take a quiz to help you figure out the best match for you and your needs!
What are your favorite beauty products, which ones would you not buy again? Spill the beans!
