pale pink

Shhh.. I’m blogging and listening to my conference presentation at the same time. I would be nothing if not a multi-tasker at best! And don’t get me wrong – the curriculum is outstanding, I just need to be doing many things at once – no clue why my mind works like that.

Today I’m actually attending a scientific academy on the subject matter of infectious diseases in thoracic transplantation (and completely nerding out). For those of you unaware, transplant patients are immunosuppressed because they did not grow the organ they received. ThisĀ ultimately means they must be immunosuppressed so their immune system won’t notice or recognize the transplanted organ resulting in an attack on the organ and likely rejection. Because they are immunosuppressed, they are more susceptible to infections (they don’t have all the tools to fight them off) like you or I could more easily do. Ā As I’ve told you before, I could go on and on about transplant and my job!

As you all well know I’m an undoubted pink lover.. just can’t get enough.

When I saw this dress at L Bartlett Boutique (yes, I’m always there!) I immediately needed it. The color is soft, flattering and perfectly feminine. The skirt detail I found to be beautifully unique – you just don’t find pieces like this often… especially at an affordable price point. I also really love the bodice: comfortable and with an appealing neckline.

You can find the links to my outfit below.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week, sending you all some lovely California vibes!

  1. This dress is so beautiful and unique! I really like the pale pink color. I tend to substitute pale pink and blush for white or other neutrals, just because white is not my favorite color to wear. I think this looks really well put together, and I love the lace type of detail on the skirt. SO beautiful!
