Pink and Purple Backless Swirly Twirly Dress

Why do the weekends always zip by? Last night Charlie and I managed to get out of the house and make time for a much needed date night. Life lately has been trying for the both of us, getting out and just sitting down together over dinner with intimate conversation was long overdue. We went to Trinity Groves (one of my favorite Dallas spots) and ate dinner at Saint Rocco’s – hello Italian amazingness! The restaurant reminds me so much of little Italy in New York – red carpets, white tiled walls, Frank Sinatra played overhead with all the delicious smells of handmade Italian bread in the air. If you guys are in the Dallas area, I highly recommend it! I wore this dress because a) the weather was insanely warm and muggy b) pink and purple plus backless – need I say more?

Spell always has incredible pieces with the best prints. This outfit and this geisha inspired two piece are both incredible and full of color! The way this dress twirls around me as I walk feels like I’m constantly dancing. If you’re looking for a fall dress for warmer climates, this is your must have! The colors aren’t too bright, and settled with a burnt gold undertone. This silhouette is very similar to the red dress from my last post!

I’ve spent today buried in school work and catching up on some serious paper writing. The fact that we’re in November with the nearing of semester’s end and the upcoming holidays – I almost can’t breathe. There are so many things to prepare for the holidays and finish before the completion of the semester, ahhh! Where does the time go? Can I just rewind back to date night and live there? Anyway.. I hope your Monday starts off well. Cheers to a brand new week ahead!

  18. I don’t think I’ve ever been to Trinity Groves. I’ll have to check out Saint Rocco’s. This dress is so lovely. Perfect for the warm weather we’ve been having. Although I think we’re getting some cooler weather tomorrow. So excited for that!

  24. My fiance and I had planned a much needed date night for Saturday too which ended up getting postponed (doesn’t that always happen!) Hopefully we can squeeze one in soon. I love your dress and earrings!
