Rich in Ruffles
“Give me a full ballerinaĀ skirtĀ and a hint ofĀ saloonĀ and I’m on board.” – Nigel
Returning from vacation is the absolute worst.
There’s always a ZILLION things to catch up on, and usually a little fire (or five) to put out. That’s not to say I don’t have an amazing team who covers for me while I’m out, because I absolutely do, but no one manages your patients/job like you do, right? And it always seems like the crazy things happen while you’re gone, and then you feel guilty your team had to put up with said crazy on top of their already craze-filled days.
I’ll definitely be playing catch up for the next couple of days while still taking care of my patients/job/etc this week but don’t worry, I’ll be posting my Bahamian getaway later this week/weekend!
I’ve been SO excited to share this outfit with you because it’s by far one of my most favorite looks I’ve done so far. You all know I’m such a sucker when it comes to all things pink, frilly, and/or rich in ruffles. This skirt happens to be ALL three of those and surprisingly excellently priced (76$!). It also happens to come in two other colors, a dustier rose and a grey. Because I have zero self control and tend to be an impulsive buyer I bought all of them. Zero guilt here.
Yes, that’s a wee bra slip, because I’m an imperfect person.
I styled this magnificent number with a cute tie crop top (less than $20!) and my new found love of clear-heeled shoes from L. Bartlett Boutique. Naturally this look works for Valentine’s day, but I think it’s incredible for any date night!
Wishing you all a love-filled Valentine’s week!
