Summer Whites
Ah, June: the month of welcoming summer. With summer’s arrival, so comes the summer whites and all things lace. Personally I’ve always believed in wearing white in all seasons, but for those of you who only believe in wearing white in the summer – this is for you ladies. The lace detail is so intricate and delicately femme, I fell in love the moment I saw this dress! I realized after I was done shooting I didn’t get a good back detail but the back is somewhat of a lace up and SUPER pretty! You kind of can glimpse it in some of the photos below.
OH and did you notice something different? My hair isĀ CURLY! I hardly ever let my natural curls out anymore.. no idea why. Probably because the humidity in Dallas usually gives me the perfect ‘frizzle do by day’s end. But my hair is naturally curly for those that didn’t know.
My mind is somewhat blurred from writing quite a few papers this week and I’m really struggling with motivation – I’m not sure what my deal is but I just can’t seem to find the “pep” I had in my master’s.. and that only ended a year ago. I have a week left in my ethics class (thankfully) and two more in philosophy and then I’ll have completed my first doctoral semester. Saying that is already like, um whoa, what?! Again.. thank you all for staying with me in my little hiatus while I focused on getting started again.
I plan on using the next few weeks to plan out some fun blog ideas and figure out where I’d like the blog to go. If you guys have any ideas or content you’d like to see, feel free to leave your comments! I love getting feedback and incorporating new ideas!!
