The Simple Solutions To Those Common Appearance Problems

Generally speaking, everyone wants to look their best, and anything that easily or routinely gets in the way of that aim is going to cause a lot of dismay and frustration. I mean – getting a surprise pimple isn’t exactly awesome, am I right? The truth of the matter is that it is an ongoing effort to try and look as good as possible (on your terms), and no matter how hard you try you might feel that there is always something else that you need to work on. For example – I get my face dermaplaned (amazing) and then notice hyperpigmentation and sun damage spots on my outer face, requiring MORE attention, ah!

While it’s good to be vigilant and show yourself that quality self love and attention, it’s also important to remember to love yourself as is and not judge or push yourself too harshly. Currently I’m back on my workout train and keto dieting once more. While I have areas I want to see improved and more toned, I freaking treat myself like the queen I know I am and remind myself I’m held to no one’s standards but my own – and even those can be too much.

That being said, there are a number of common appearance issues people have which do actually have simple enough solutions, and knowing those solutions is likely to help you if you have them yourself. Letā€™s take a look at a few examples.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are incredibly common, and yet for some reason they are one of those things that have such a stigma attached to them. In simple terms, varicose veins are just veins which have become twisted, causing them to appear clumped under the skin and more visible. You might also be able to feel them, and in some cases they might feel particularly uncomfortable. Although it’s extremely rare for varicose veins to actually cause any real medical problems such as pain or mobility issues, sometimes they can, and in such cases you will want to have them looked at by a medical professional. If you’re looking to improve the appearance of your skin/varicose veins, you search out a local clinic to have vein treatment. Treatments these days are highly advanced and effectual in a few treatments or less. All in all, you donā€™t have to live with varicose veins anymore.

Wrinkles

Everybodyā€™s skin wrinkles with age; wrinkles are nothing but a natural consequence of the skin having moved in a certain pattern many times over several years. So the longer you live, the more likely you are to have wrinkles, which is not something that you necessarily need to do anything about. But for many people, wrinkles are a problem they want fixed including your’s truly. If you are especially worried about how they might be affecting your appearance, then by all means look into doing something about them. You do you! A simple solution, however; is simply to drink more water, which keeps the skin hydrated and supple. The difference when I do and don’t hydrate properly is astonishing! I do regularly apply moisturizers, beauty oils, and exfoliate as well as invest in hydrafacials and microderming! For Christmas I got the PMD personal microderm tool and so far I’m enjoying the results! Have you tried it?

Belly

If you have put some weight on over the Christmas period, you are not alone – ya girl most definitely did and I enjoyed every minute. Most people do, and one of the first places that each of us develops some fat is in the belly region. Thankfully I had mine treated by CoolSculpting! Of course, belly fat or any pockets of unwanted fat can cause a look which is personally unappealing for many people, pushing us to all kinds of remedies, fads, crazy diets, you name it. Remember to approach weight loss in small steps and attainable goals all the while remaining healthy and body positive! Consider stripping back your diet NOT by restricting but by adding more fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats – eliminate all the processed junk. I once thought in order to lose weight I had to restrict myself of everything or turn to extremely unhealthy measures (insert years of my eating disorders). DON’T follow that path! I also heard the term ‘dry January’ for the first time this year – which isn’t a bad idea! Cutting back on alcohol and all the ensuing carbs does the body wonders!
