Tuesday Insta Roundup

Hello loves,

How’ s your week going? I’ve been so busy I can hardly see straight (and hardly sleeping). Ā  I’ve gathered a few favorite outfits of mine from the past few days on Instagram. The first I wore today, and this Corey skirt stole the show!Ā  Ā There is img_0821a new Shop September boutique in West Village, I just happened to walk right past it! You MUST go visit them, they’re super sweet! This skirt was an immediate attention grabber. TheĀ ruffle neck top I snagged from j.crew (and in more than one color!) Ā Shoes: topshop from Trunk Club. Have you signed up? Trunk Club is fashion-heaven at your door step. A personalized stylist will send you a preview of the trunk they’ve arranged for you based upon some simple style preference questions. You only pay for what you want to keep, otherwise send it back at no cost! I love waiting to see what Kelsey has picked for me!

Outfit #2: This periwinkle Amanda Uprichard dress got SO many compliments, I can’t even tell you. The garment is super soft, easy to wear and dress up or down. You can’t see my peep toe booties, but they’re also incredible for fall and are Dolce Vita. I’ll share a little secret with you .. whenever my hair is in img_2360braids, it’s usually to mask the fact I haven’t washed it šŸ™‚ But it looks awesome, right? Dry shampoo is a blessing from heaven. You can find this dress at one of my favorite Dallas boutiques, L Bartlett. Tell them I sent ya! They definitely keep me looking fab.

Outfit 3: Super funny story. This denim English Factory ruffle romper was a snag from ShopBop. The booties are the same from outfit 2! Tassel crossbody is also mentioned in my purse finds a few posts back, but you can find it hereĀ fall purse steal.

So the funny story goes like this: I’m sitting at Public School bar/restaurant with my bestie watching the OU (boomer!)/OSU game… such a shameful loss. Any who.. I completely ripped the zipper in the bathroom and couldn’t fix it, thus I was forced to walk myself back out to the table with the entire back open . (Another secret, you freaking own those situations, no matter how embarrassing. We are all human, who cares what anyone else might say, right? Keep that head held high and finish your cocktail!) Ā A man (super concerned) came over to tell me about my blunder, as if I wasn’t aware. He was an engineer by trade and swore he could fix the zipper… but failed. I’ve never laughed so hard but also appreciated the sincere kindness he showed in helpiimg_2383img_2384img_2391ng some pitiful looking girl with clothing in pieces. I was just going to sit there and finish my drink anyway! But nevertheless, it always pays to be good to each other even if in the end all you can do is say sorry, I tried!

Outfit 4: Totally accurate shirt, and insanely soft by Wildfox. Ā You can find this and tons of new Wildfox apparel at L Bartlett! (I just love witty shirts, don’t you?) I wanted to be comfy/cozy on Sunday, and was itching to try a new braid. This one is called the pull-through braid and it was my first time trying it. I’ll post a how-to once I get lots more practice! My cute peep toe booties are by Schutz, and also at L Bartlett!

Outfit 5: I must confess, the braid lived on from Sunday through Monday night. A) because I’m a lazy bones on Monday mornings and B) it was too cute not to! Remember a few posts back when I talked about celebrating your daily wins? Monday, my win wasĀ this outfit and shaved legs (I seriously hate shaving.. it takes so long!). Pink + leopard? YAS! Both items are part of J.Crew’s fall finds, and to die for. (I also bought this blouse in multiple colors). Check out the skirt! Earrings are Kenneth Jay Lane tassels via Gilt. Shoes are Kate Spade, but last year’s style.

And if you’re following my instagram, tune in tonight on a new giveaway!!
