Unveiling Veggies | That’s It Part 2
Who remembers my colorful partnership with my dearest friends at That’s It to discuss the perks of their super delicious fruit bars? If you didn’t catch it, no worries! You can read all about it here. Now that we’re transitioning into fall, I feel like the summer vibes of fruity feels Ā and prints starts to dissipate and fall fantasies of Thanksgiving platters start coming into the picture. Fall always reminds me of pumpkin patches and lush farmer’s markets full of vibrant vegetable spreads just ripe for the picking. The taste wizards at That’s It have whipped up a new snack bar with a surprising new edge – Veggie bars!
Now you’re probably thinking .. come on Tara, really? Veggie bars? Gross! Absolutely not! I’ll admit, the initial thought was puzzling to me as well. I am happy to report, however, I find these bars pleasantly surprising and appetizing! To me, they taste nothing like beans and more like a natural cacao flavor. Just like their fruity counterparts – they are gluten free, vegan & Kosher friendly, non-GMO, and no preservatives. They are black bean based (remember our important discussion on bowel movements?, bingo!), and they have four flavor options: pea, kale, carrot, and corn. Personally, the carrot is my fave! It’s very sweet!
I love having the ability to tote these around – they’re in my gym bag (they’ve got protein in them), in my car, in my purse, and in my desk at work. As much as I absolutely adore the fruit bars, I can’t eat sugar all day. Getting my dose of veggies helps me feel a little more balanced when I can’t squeeze in a full meal! Did I mention they are less than 100 calories and 0 g of fat? Yes please!
Take a stroll with me through the Dallas Farmer’s Market – I found some gems!

I love fruit bars! Whenever I grave a bit of sugar (but not the refined version) I will eat fruits. And dried they’re even sweeter and give a great quick energy.
Me too!! You must try their veggie bars, they’re surprisingly sweet and give just as much energy as the fruit bars – I’m totally addicted!
Fruit bars are pretty good. Never had veggie bars, but may want to try some someday! I actually like veggies more than most fruits, because they are not overly sweet.
Awesome idea. I never knew about veggie bars. Now I have one more convenient way of adding veggies to my diet š
I love fruit bars but veggie bars I have never tasted. I am a bit weary lol
Haha so was I! But I tried the carrot ones first, and was very pleasantly surprised. They are much sweeter than you would expect!
I love these. Personally I prefer the Kale ones. My friends think I am nuts when I pull these out to munch on. But whatever it taste and is so much better for my body than that bag of doritos your eating.
I totally agree! I think they’re all so fantastic!
I didn’t hear about veggie bars before, only about fruit bars. They sound intriguing but I would love to try them. The combination with cacao must be delicious.
to clarify there isn’t cacao in them – it just reminds me of cacao! it’s actually black bean based but to me i don’t taste the bean at all!
A great idea! It looks very luxurious, I like it very much.
I never heard of veggie bars before but they sound absolutely delicious!!! I would love to try these and they seem like such a healthy snack to keep in my purse for emergencies!
I love fruit bars and veggies treats too, It a shame I cannot really any sugary food or already prepared and packed right now, for health reasons but these bars look delicious!
I like this idea. I’ve never been to a veggie bar before. I want to try this one day. I hope i can find one in my area.
You look so adorable buying veggies. I seriously need this entire colorful mod-inspired look in my life, especially the kimono.
I am always looking for something new for my kids and they will eat almost anything in bar format lol. Going to have to give these a try!

I might actually try these if I find one in my place. By the way, you look cute in your #ootd. This is not something I would wear in our veggie market but you definitely rock this style.
I dunno if this comment went through. but you may delete then if it appeared again. Sorry about that.

These veggie bars look amazing. I love easy snacks that are also healthy. Your style is gorgeous too.
I don’t think veggie bars sounds weird at all; I’d SO eat them! They sound super nutritious and convenient for on the go moments (which is basically everyday) š Also, just have to say I adore that yellow dress and kinda want one š
Love your outfit and the premise of your veggie bar!
That’s a very very interesting photoshoot! To do them in markets. I’m surprised by how the photos turn out because your classy wear don’t look out of place when you are there~ I thought it would look wrong, but I’m wrong!
