Walmart Summer Beauty Essentials

Hi all! You all know how passionate I am about finding skincare and beauty products that you love. This summerā€™s spotlight is ā€œdrugstore beautyā€ and I have returned to using some absolutely incredible brands to share with you, including some new brands I didn’t even know were available at Walmart – which is even more exciting! I bought all of these featured products for less than $100 with tax believe it or not! Of course, they are individually less.

L’Oreal Paris Skincare Age Perfect Regimen Kit

Featuring a three product glow-focused set, this includes a morning rosy toned moisturizer (I love this one!), a night time cream, and mini eye renewal cream with 5 in 1 action. The rosy toned day cream revives our natural skin tone – giving you a little bit of a reviving morning skin pick up, while the night cream stimulates surface skin exfoliation and promotes cell turnover – getting rid of that dull skin. The eye cream fights 5 of our biggest woes – puffiness, dark circles, bags, lines, and crepey lids (loose and saggy lids). I’ve been wearing the day cream under my makeup and I find it really helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day – especially in this crazy Texas heat. All of these products are also available as single purchases (although the set is more cost efficient) AND I just found a rosy set that includes a mask (*adds to cart*).

Because I’m worth it.

MILANI Highlighter Palette

Never dull your shine for somebody else.

This palette is so richly packed with pigment, I was seriously so impressed! I’m a bit picky when it comes to highlighter palettes because some just seem to fall short. Happy to report this surpassed my expectations! I bought in the rose glow hues that are warm and a little bronzy. This palette also comes in holographic beams, a more stellar/edgy vibe. I don’t know what my makeup routine would now be like without highlighter – it adds just the right finishing touch! I swipe on the top of my cheek bones, over my cupid’s bow, the point of my nose, and lightly swipe whatever is left on the brush on the sides of my forehead. I also found this adorable rosette blush palette, I love the shades and am making it my next purchase!

Revlon Ultra HD Lip Glosses

I have always been an advocate for bold lip colors. You can create a face that makes the lip color the star of the show, or you can create a fun all over look that incorporates the lip color to create a complete poppin’ face. I can’t tell you how many times people say “I love that color, but I could never pull that off.” So false. It sounds cliche but believing that you look great in a certain color/outfit/whatever the case may be is half the battle. Some might prefer certain shades for specific seasons, but I think summer is the best season to make any hue work!

I love that there are numerous shades in this line to pick from – let the creativity commence! I also found a nude trio set for $12, and a metallic line (4$ a piece!) of this gloss!

St. Ives Facial Mist

Did anyone else here grow up on St. Ives? I remember back in the 90’s finding a jar in my grandma’s bathroom (I totally raided her makeup all the time) and just thinking it was so cool. I’d never seen a scrub before! Ever since that day, I’ve been hooked although I have since learned the proper way to use a scrub and not micro-tear your skin. Over the years St. Ives has expanded their product line to include more than an apricot scrub. I’m a huge fan of the grapefruit scrub (smells so good) and was super excited to find a $5 facial mist! Not familiar?

Facial mists are an excellent way to refresh your face mid-day, or even just a spritz when you’re waking up or going to bed. I like using them for setting spray for a more dewy look as well. I bought the grapefruit mist but they also made a lavender mist (this sounds perfect for bed time!). I always have a tough time going to sleep and a little lavender goes a long way.

New Products to Try

I have a few products I’ve ordered that haven’t arrived yet – but I can’t wait to try! A few I’ll be testing to create a more bronzed, summer-goddess makeup vibe while another is a new sheet mask I’m eager to get my hands on.

Have you tried sheet masks? I love the intense hydration they deliver combined with whatever added ingredients/effect they advertise. These are $8 for 7 sheets! I’ve spent some serious dollars in the past on sheet masks so I’m super excited to see if these are just as good or better! $$$$ does not always equal awesomeness.

I’ve used a variety of Cover FX products in the past, I really love their primers. I’ve seen different shades of these color enhancing drops before, but I’m going to test adding these bronzy drops into my foundation and hopefully see an added glow!

This L’Oreal gloss looks beautiful on the website; I think it’s going to be a fantastic summer shade with my bronzy face. I’m a big fan of the L’Oreal Lumi line, so I expect greatness from this gloss too! The Glotion and Bronze it Bronzer are favorites of mine as well!
