Hello gorgeous

Each year, around this time, I complete annual evaluations for all of my staff members. We discuss their progress over the past working year, what’s working well and what needs improvement. These discussions tend to lead me into moments of self-reflection where I ask myself the same questions I’m asking my employees: what’s working well in my life, what isn’t? What needs adjustment or perhaps a fresh start? It’s so easy for me to get caught up in the what if’s of life, moments from the past and questions about the future. Years ago, I signed up for a daily email from values.com that sends me a daily inspirational quote. It’s scary how right on the money they can be sometimes (and so needed)! Here’s the quote for today:

This message rings true on so many levels: inhabit your moments. For today and as often as I can remember it, I will inhabit my moments and worry less. Shrug off the ghosts of the past, embrace the possibilities of the future, be present in the now. Feels good right? Who’s with me?!

Speaking of moments – Labor Day is quickly approaching! I hope you all have fun plans, and include some precious “me” time! I’m super curious, how does everyone feel about white after Labor Day?
